In the beginning there had been nothing.
And it was good.
Dean missed the nothing. It had been better than anything to come before it, and so far it was better than anything to come after it. He stood out the front of Bobby Singer’s car yard and tried to remember what the fuck was supposed to come next. It was still strange to find himself standing there. Like it was a dream, and he was waiting for the part where he woke up with a dog licking his face, or to be back in Hell, with the pain licking at his insides.
( He scrubbed a hand over his face and tried to pull himself together. )
